Drug Arrests

On December 20th, 2013 Deputies from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle on USH 12 near North Reedsburg Road in the Delton Township.  The traffic stop was the result of an ongoing investigation by the Sauk County Drug Task Force into the trafficking of heroin and other drugs from the Madison area to the Reedsburg area.  The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office’s new K-9, Fedor, was utilized on this traffic stop.  A search of the vehicle and occupants turned up heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and US Currency.   A search warrant was then executed at a residence in the City of Reedsburg by Officers of the Sauk County Drug Task Force and the Reedsburg Police Department. This investigation was initiated with numerous tips to the Sauk County Crime Stoppers line from citizen’s about the illegal drug activity occurring in the City of Reedsburg.  
 
Dustin Adell, age 30, of Reedsburg was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver THC, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating after revocation.
 
Brittney Kulas, age 26, of Reedsburg was also arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver THC, maintaining a drug dwelling, and possession of drug  paraphernalia.

The Sauk County Drug Task Force consists of members from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, Baraboo Police Department, Sauk Prairie Police Department, Reedsburg Police Department, Lake Delton Police Department, Spring Green / Plain Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
