Driver Identified in February 28th Fatal Crash
On February 28th, 2016 at about 3:20 PM, the Sauk County Sheriffs Office investigated a one vehicle rollover traffic crash on CTH H at Birchwood Road in the Township of Delton.
Investigation revealed that the driver, 35 year old Taylor J. Houghton of Wisconsin Dells, was the sole occupant at the time of the crash. Houghton was not wearing a seatbelt and died of injuries sustained in the crash.
Speed and failing to have control of the vehicle were contributing factors in the crash. It is unknown at this time if alcohol or drug use were also contributing factors.
