City of Baraboo Search Warrant

On October 11th, 2013, Officers with the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, Baraboo Police Department and the Sauk County Drug Task Force, in response to an on-going investigation regarding the sales of Heroin and other illegal drugs within Sauk County, were granted and did execute a Search Warrant at a residence located in the City of Baraboo, WI. As a result of this Search Warrant, ​
Ronald K. Markley III, M/W, 31 years of age, was arrested and incarcerated in the Sauk County Jail for the following charges:
 
​SS 961.41(1)(d) Manufacture / Deliver Heroin – 3 counts – Class “F” Felony
​SS 961.41(1M)(d) Possession with Intent to deliver Heroin – Class “F” Felony
SS 961.42 Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place – Class “I” Felony
​SS 961.573 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Class “A” Misdemeanor
​SS 961.41(3G)(e) Possession of Marijuana – Class “A” Misdemeanor
As a result of this search warrant, Heroin, Prescription Drugs, Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia and U.S. Currency were seized.

The Sauk County Drug Task Force consists of members from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, Baraboo Police Department, Sauk Prairie Police Department, Reedsburg Police Department, Lake Delton Police Department, Spring Green / Plain Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
