Business Burglary Town of Delton

Special News Release

January 24, 2011

On January 23, 2011, at approximately 9:00 A. M. the Sauk County Communication Center received a call from Cupids Lingerie and Gifts in the Town of Delton reporting their business was burglarized.

Upon the deputy’s arrival he found that forced entry had been made through the front door. Upon inspection of the property the deputy discovered the rear door also open. The business was entered during the night time hours. The investigation by the deputy and a detective determined a small lock box and a safe was taken. The safe contained a large amount of cash and other related business documents. The exact amount taken has not been confirmed at this time.
