Burglary-Town of Baraboo
On March 19, 2018 at approximately 4:23pm the Sauk County Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a burglary in progress to a residence on STH 136 in the Town of Baraboo. The caller reported she had returned home to her residence and encountered an unknown male inside the home. The male told her he was with the FBI. The woman fled the residence and called 911.
Sauk County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on scene at 4:25pm. The intruder was located inside the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Brandon D. Hughes, age 31, of rural Baraboo, was transported to the Sauk County Jail and is charged with Burglary and Impersonating an Officer.
