Burglary Investigations
On August 15, 2014, the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant in the Village of Lime Ridge, Sauk County. The warrant was issued following a lengthy investigation into numerous burglaries in Sauk, Richland, and Vernon Counties which occurred over a six week period. During the investigation on August 15, Ryan K. Murray, age 24, from Lime Ridge, and Bronson J. Bantleon, age 23, from Oshkosh, were taken into custody and are currently in the Sauk County Jail on Probation/Parole Holds.
Investigators from Sauk, Richland, Vernon, and Marquette Counties are continuing with the investigations and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, Sauk County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-TIP-SAUK (888) 847-7885, or the Richland County Crime Stoppers at 1-608-647-CLUE (608-647-2583).
