Burglaries - Township of Woodland

On Sunday, April 17th, 2016, the Sauk County Sheriffs Office was made aware of two residential burglaries and one attempted residential burglary that had occurred in the Township of Woodland in the Northwest portion of Sauk County.

Forced entry to various doors and windows at all three locations was used to gain entry to the residences. None of the homeowners were present at the homes when the crime occurred.

A larger sized, older model vehicle with loud exhaust was reportedly observed in the area in the early morning hours preceding the burglary reports.

Inventories of stolen property are still being obtained and these cases remain under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriffs Office.

Citizens are asked to keep an eye on their surroundings and report any suspicious activity they observe right away so that immediate investigation can occur.
