2 Vehicle Crash

On October 24, 2025 at 5:52 A.M., the Sauk County Communications Center received a call for a traffic accident at the intersection of STH 60 and Old Bluff Trail in Prairie du Sac Township.  Preliminary reports indicated that a pickup was southbound on Old Bluff Trail and failed to yield to a westbound pickup.  The westbound vehicle struck the southbound pickup. The occupant of the westbound truck sustained non life-threatening injuries.  The driver of the southbound truck sustained life-threatening injuries. This incident remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department. Sauk Prairie Police Department, Sauk City Fire, Sauk Prairie EMS, and the Sauk County Highway Shop assisted the Sheriff’s Department at the scene.
