RESOLUTION TO ABOLISH THE MOBILITY & OPERATIONS MANAGER, PROGRAM SPECIALIST - TRANSPORTATION AND PROGRAM ASSISTANT - TRANSPORTATION POSITIONS AND CREATE THE TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR POSITION FOR THE AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER OF SAUK COUNTY EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2015
WHEREAS, the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Sauk County (ADRC) has engaged in a year-long restructuring process in 2014; and
WHEREAS, the ADRC provides coordinated transportation services to adults age 60 and older and adults with disabilities, including specialized transit shopping and recreational buses, a taxi subsidy program and a volunteer driver escort program; and
WHEREAS, through the ADRC restructuring process, the positions of one full-time (1.00 FTE) Mobility & Operations Manager, one full-time (1.00 FTE) Program Specialist - Transportation and one part-time (0.48 FTE) Program Assistant-Transportation will be abolished; and
WHEREAS, through the ADRC restructuring process, the creation of one full-time equivalent (1.00 FTE) Transportation Coordinator position will support the ADRC’s mission by focusing on coordinating multimodal transportation services that foster independence and enhanced quality of life; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Coordinator position is one full-time equivalent (1.00 FTE), combining two and one-half previous full-time equivalent positions within the ADRC’s transportation unit; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Sauk County be authorized to abolish one full-time equivalent (1.00 FTE) Mobility & Operations Manager position, one full-time (1.00 FTE) Program Specialist – Transportation position and one part-time (0.48 FTE) Program Assistant – Transportation position and create one full-time equivalent (1.00 FTE) Transportation Coordinator position, effective January 1, 2015.

Fiscal Note: The 1.00 FTE Transportation Coordinator position has been budgeted in 2015 at $62,185 for wages and benefits and $5,000 in other costs including supplies, mileage, general liability insurance and MIS chargebacks. This position is funded by 46.69% state funds, 24.01% family care and transportation program fares, 20.00% federal funds and 9.30% County Tax Levy.
MIS Note: No MIS impact, computer hardware and software already in existence.
