Purpose

To purchase a replacement 4x4 pickup. 

Background

The 2019 Sauk County budget authorized the expenditure of $35,000 for the purchase of a replacement vehicle to be used by the Parks Department. Bids were solicited using the State Contract Pricing, VendorNet, and the bid of Ewald Automotive Group of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, was found to best meet the needs and requirements put forth in the bid solicitation and was selected by the Sauk County Highway and Parks Committee as the most advantageous bid. As part of the bid, a 2011 Chevy Colorado will be traded in.

Resolution Body

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, met in regular session, that the bid of Ewald Automotive Group of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, for a Ram 1500 Classic Pickup, for a total sum of $27,875, is hereby accepted and the Parks Director is authorized to make said purchase.
