Purpose

To purchase a replacement utility vehicle.

Background

The 2019 Sauk County budget authorized the expenditure of $19,000 for the purchase of a replacement utility vehicle to be used by the Parks Department. Two bids were received and the bid from The Homesteader’s Store of Richland Center, Wisconsin, was found to best meet the needs and requirements put forth in the bid solicitation notice and was selected by the Sauk County Highway and Parks Committee as the most advantageous bid. As part of the bid, a 1998 John Deere Gator will be traded in.

Resolution Body

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, met in regular session, that the bid of The Homesteader’s Store of Richland Center, Wisconsin, for a Kubota RTV-X1100CWL-H with the trade in of a 1998 John Deere Gator, valued at $1,250.00, for a total sum of $17,260.26, is hereby accepted and the Parks Director is authorized to make said purchase.
