Purpose

Authorize county board chair to enter into conflict consulting services agreement.

Background

Applied Conflict Solutions, LLC, through its owner and agent, Jeff Hoffman, has offered to provide free professional conflict resolution consulting services for the Sauk County Board. Mr. Hoffman is a highly trained and skilled conflict management professional who helps businesses and organizations that are struggling with conflict by diagnosing conflict situations and constructing conflict resolution methods. He is an experienced conflict educator, coach and trainer and specializes in designing conflict management systems that address challenging conflicts in a positive way, re-build relationships and strengthen team members. His goal is to make everyone in an organization conflict confident. He thinks the Sauk County Board could benefit from his services and is willing to provide them at no cost. 

Resolution Body

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, met in regular session, that the County Board Chair is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Applied Conflict Solutions, LLC for a sum not to exceed zero (0) dollars and zero (0) cents ($00.00) to provide conflict consulting services for the Sauk County Board.

For consideration by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors on October 16, 2018.
