Purpose

To sell Tax Deed property.

Background

Background: Sauk County has taken a tax deed on the below described parcel.  The property has  been advertised as a Class III Notice under Chapter 985 of the Wisconsin Statutes and it remains unsold. Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 75.69, we may sell a parcel that remains unsold as long as the price received meets or exceeds the advertised aggregate appraised value.  The appraised value is $4,100.00.  Kenneth M. & Becky L. Jilk submitted an offer to purchase this property.   Pursuant to the "Spring Brook Glen Condominium Disclosure Materials", Section 16.04, the Spring Brook Board has an option to exercise their Right of First Refusal on Conveyance, subject to objection of unit owners. Spring Brook Association has notified me that they exercised their Right of First Refusal on Conveyance, and they received no objections to the purchase.  The Spring Brook Board has offered the sum of $4,100.00.  The Jilk offer will be cancelled and all funds returned the them.

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors met in regular session that the Sauk County Clerk be and hereby is authorized and directed, having received $4,100.00 from The Spring Brook Glen Owners Association on August 27, 2018 to issue a quit claim deed to The Spring Brook Glen Owners Association for the below described property:

 

Spring Brook Glen Condo (Phase 2), Unit 47, more particularly described in the Sauk County Register of Deeds office at Document #735793.  (Parcel #146-1053-50470)  

    

     Appraised Value:  $4,100.00    Offer Amount:  $4,100.00

 

     For consideration by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors on September 18, 2018.
