Purpose
Declaring a State of Emergency in Sauk County.
Background
Background:
A disaster, namely flooding, has struck Sauk County on August 27 and 28, 2018. Due to the emergency conditions, the Sauk County Board of Supervisors is unable to meet with promptness in order to declare an emergency. Sauk County is asking for State assistance and requests that the State advise the Federal
Government of the emergency in Sauk County. This declaration shall be confirmed by resolution of the County Board at its next special or regularly scheduled meeting.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, pursuant to Sauk County Code of Ordinances §42.07(1)(b), as County Board Chair, I hereby declare a State of Emergency in Sauk County; and
