                                                                RESOLUTION NO. ___ - 17

AMENDING THE CURRENT LEASED TOWER SPACE CONTRACT WITH

BUG TUSSEL WIRELESS AT THREE TOWER SITES

WHEREAS, Sauk County owns and leases space on nine of its communications towers, and Bug Tussel Wireless currently leases tower space from Sauk County and is interested in adding additional capacity on four towers; and,

WHEREAS, the tower lease agreement on one tower allows for nine installations, but three others provide for only six, and Bug Tussel wishes to have the option of nine installations at all four sites requiring the amendment of the leases at three sites to allow for the additional installations; and,

WHEREAS, Bug Tussel has proposed to add to their current leases at Happy Hill, Hill Point, Spring Green, and Tower Road Tower locations, and all but Spring Green will require amendment, and Bug Tussel is willing to increase their rent at the three sites subject to amendment by $300.00 per month; and,

WHEREAS, the County’s engineer and the Communications Infrastructure Committee has reviewed the agreement and believes that it is in the best interest of Sauk County to approve these amendments to the contracts at the three sites.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, met in regular session, that the tower lease agreements at the three sites are amended to allow for three additional installations and other related equipment for the additional compensation of $300.00 per month per each of the three sites.

For consideration of the Sauk County Board of Supervisors on April 18th, 2017.

Respectfully submitted:
