Background
Background: It is custom of the Sauk County Board of Supervisors to recognize staff members who have served the people of Sauk County with distinction. Jeff faithfully served the people of Sauk County for the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office. Jeff started on January 3, 1989 as a Dispatcher. In May of 1989, he moved to a Jail Deputy followed by a Patrol Deputy then a Detective In April of 1999, he became a Patrol Sergeant and was then promoted to Patrol Lieutenant in August of 2003. In January of 2011. Jeff was promoted to Captain of Field Services and finally promoted to Chief Deputy in July of 2014 where he has remained and has retired as the Chief Deputy on July 9, 2021.
Jeff provided 32 years of dedication to his career providing care and professional services for the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.
