ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

COUNTY HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT (CHI)

SAUK COUNTY HIGHWAY W

 

Notice is hereby given by the Sauk County Highway Committee, of Sauk County, Wisconsin that it will receive sealed bids for C.T.H. W, Local Road Improvement Program until 5:00 p.m., local time on the 14th day of April 2021, in the office of the Sauk County Highway Commissioner located at 620 Linn St, West Baraboo, Wisconsin.   Bids will be publicly opened and read on April 14th, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. or as soon after as the agenda allows

 

ESTIMATE OF MAJOR QUANTITIES

 

82,150 Square Yards of Cold-In-Place Asphalt Pavement

16,100 Tons 4MT58-28 Type Asphalt Concrete Paving

5,750 Gals. Tack Coat

 

Specifications and bid documents are available at the Sauk County Highway Commissioner’s Offices, 620 Linn St, West Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Proposal shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the maximum bid, payable to the Treasurer of Sauk County as a guarantee that the bidder, if the bid is accepted, will execute and file the Contract.  The Certified Check is returnable to the bidder immediately after the signing of the Contract.

A Performance Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price, a Certificate of Insurance, together within executed contract, will be required of the successful bidder.

The contractor shall be pre-qualified by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to perform the work in this bid.

The Sauk County Highway Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid they deem in the best interests of the Sauk County Highway Department.
