MEMORANDUM

To:                   ALL TRUCK OWNERS AND DRIVERS

From:               Patrick Gavinski, P.E., Sauk County Highway Commissioner

 Date:               March 25, 2019

Subject:           Posting County Truck Highways as Class “B” Highways -

Road Ban is Removed Effective of April 17, 2019.

Spring is coming and with the weather conditions the frost is coming out of the ground early, the break-up of roads could be quite extensive.

The Sauk County Highway Department is posting County Trunk Highways, that is lettered highways, effective March 25, 2019 as Class "B" highways, which allows the haulers to carry 60% of a legal load.

The weight restriction does not apply to town roads, they are controlled by the local townships. Be sure to check with the Town Chairperson to see if their roads are posted.

Thank you for your cooperation.  This does help provide you better roads over the years.

Sincerely,

Patrick Gavinski, P.E.

Sauk Co. Highway Commissioner
