Sauk County has entered into agreement with the State of Wisconsin to participate in the state implementation of the Next Gen 911 (NG911) network. Through participation in this agreement, Sauk County has obtained a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs for the purpose of preparing our GIS address data for use with the NG911 platform. These contracts are for the purchase of the services necessary from our 911 system vendor, Intrado Life and Safety, for the evaluation and preparation of county GIS data for use with the new platform, and to provide GIS staff training.
