Snyder & Associates shall design and engineer the front 14-acre Educational Hub of the Sauk County Farm as part of the development of the property into an agricultural education and outdoor recreation area. A landscape architect shall design the Education Hub for superior ADA access, traffic flow, utilization of native or climate adaptive species, possible edible landscaping, stormwater control, and placement of all features of the plan. The consultant shall perform a topographic survey with one-foot contours, showing all existing infrastructure and hard surfaces on-site, utilities, and trees with DBH of 6” or greater. Geotechnical borings shall be performed to place proposed infrastructure on the site, along with soil inspections for a private on-site wastewater system (POWTs). The driveway, parking lot, and stormwater facilities shall be engineered with corresponding construction plans. LRE staff shall apply for any necessary permits. The design shall allow for staged development over a twenty-year period as funding becomes available for additional infrastructure.
