Conservation Camp Scholarships for Youth

Conversation Camp for Youth

The Sauk County Land Resources and Environment Department provides a limited number of scholarships to youth in the county each year.

Youth can qualify for scholarships to attend conservation camps hosted by Wisconsin Land + Water. The camps are the Upham Woods Conservation Camp in Wisconsin Dells for youth entering grades 6-8, or the Youth Conservation Camp in Manitowish Waters for students entering grades 9-12. Each camp introduces youth to conservation careers and allows them to explore the conservation field and the natural beauty of Wisconsin.

Scholarships will cover 50% of the camp registration fee. The scholarship amount is dependent on the amount of funding available and number of eligible applicants. Recipients will receive 50% or more in funding to attend the camp.

Learn more about the camps below or follow the links provided for additional information or to register.
