2015 Wisconsin Act 145, signed into law by Governor Walker on February 4th, 2016, will require an electronic real estate transfer return (eRETR) with all conveyance documents.  There is one exception to this requirement and that is for conveyances executed prior to October 1st, 1969,  s.77.25(1).  This act applies to conveyances beginning February 6th, 2016.

September 12, 2016 will mark the beginning of the index scanning project.  Initially, the grantor indexes will be removed for scanning.  Upon completion of the grantor indexes, the grantee indexes will then be removed.  Complete scanning of both groups is expected to take 6-8 weeks.  The vendor will be available to scan specific pages related to your search within a reasonable time.  If you are aware of several names you will be searching, please notify us ahead of time and we will do our best to make sure the scans of those pages are available upon your arrival.  I apologize in advance for
