About Management Information Systems Department

Management Information Systems (MIS) Provides management and support for all computer technology used in the operation of Sauk County Government. 

The M.I.S. Department manages all facets of the automated information systems of Sauk County. The department assesses the County's current and future technological needs and designs, develops, implements and maintains strategic plans to satisfy those needs. These plans typically involve purchasing and maintaining computer hardware and software, as well as providing ongoing technical support services.

MIS operates a computer network to provide desktop computing resources to approximately 600 end users at 6 locations in Sauk County.

To provide the capability to improve the processes of County government, through the provision of centralized, secure and effective technology solutions to the agencies that constitute local government and the consumers of the services provided by those agencies.
