Unidentified Remains in Duffelbag.

On June 05, 2008 a blue duffle bag and multi-colored afghan were found by a citizen along the roadside of a rural road in northern Sauk County near the Wisconsin Dells area. The duffle bag was found to contain bones that were identified as human remains. The remains are believed to be from an infant that would have been at the age of birth, give or take a few weeks. At this time the sex, race and viability of the child have not been determined by the remains.

The duffle bag is a blue sports style bag with the markings of “InGear Expedition International.EXP” on the front of it and a logo on one side. It has several pockets. It is approximately 2ft x 1ft x 1ft in size. The afghan was inside the duffle bag and appears to be hand made. It has three main colors to it; White, Blue and Lavender. It is approximately 6ft x 4ft in size.
