Traffic Crash & OWI 3 Arrest
On Sunday, May 28, 2023 at approximately 4:54 PM, the Sauk County Communications Center received a report of a single vehicle crash in the area of Fox Hill Rd. and Wynsong Dr., in the Township of Baraboo.
During the crash investigation, a Sauk County Deputy made contact with an operator of the involved vehicle who was identified as Ricardo Rodriguez, age 39, of Baraboo.
While speaking with Rodriguez, the Deputy observed signs of impairment. From the Deputy’s investigation, Rodriguez was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated 3rd Offense.
The charge of Operating While Intoxicated 3rd Offense is being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.
The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Baraboo Fire and EMS District.
