Sauk County Drug Task Force Makes an Arrest

On October 8, 2010, the Sauk County Drug Task force executed a Search Warrant on Jefferson Street in the City of Baraboo reference an ongoing drug investigation. As a result of the search, police seized 54.4 grams of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of $3,000, assorted items consistent with the sale of illegal drugs and more than $7,000 in cash.

As a result of the investigation, Debra M. Adams age 48 of Baraboo has been charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Maintain Drug Dwelling, Delivery of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was incarcerated at the Sauk County Jail.

Also as a result of this investigation Wendy R. Lunny age 41 of Baraboo was arrested and charged with Delivery of Cocaine. She was also incarcerated at the Sauk County Jail

The investigation is continuing by the Sauk County Drug Task Force. The Sauk County Drug Task Force is comprised of officers from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, Baraboo Police Department, Sauk Prairie Police Department, Lake Delton Police Department, Reedsburg Police Department, LaValle Police Department, Plain police Department and the Spring Green Police Department.
