Sauk County Drug Task Force Arrests 2 men for Drug & Firearm charges

On September 18, 2020, the Sauk County Drug Task Force, Sauk County Sheriff’s Office and the Sauk County Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at 530 East Hiawatha Drive, The Lighthouse Cove Condominiums, Room 609 in the Village of Lake Delton, Sauk County, Wisconsin. This was as the result of an on-going investigation into the sales of illegal narcotics, mainly methamphetamine. As a result of the search warrant 2 suspects were initially detained and later arrested.  Identified and initially incarcerated for Wisconsin Department of Correction warrants for their arrest then later charged with the following;

Timothy E. Savannah, 28 years of age from Waupon, WI,

941.29 – Felon in Possession of a Firearm

961.41(1)(e)4 - Manuf/Deliver Amphetamine(>50g)

961.41(3g)(e) - Possession of THC (2nd+ Offense)

961.41(1m)(cm)3 - Possess w/Intent-Cocaine (>15-40g)

961.41(1m)(hm)3 - Possess w/Intent-Designer Drugs(>10-50g)

961.41(1m)(d)2 - Possess w/Intent-Heroin(>3-10g)

961.42(1) - Maintain Drug Trafficking Place

 

Gary A. Scott, 39 years of age from Windsor, WI

941.29 – Felon in Possession of a Firearm

961.41(3g)(e) - Possession of THC (2nd+ Offense)

 

Both Savannah and Scott were incarcerated in the Sauk County Jail.

Items seized in the search included 2 loaded firearms, marijuana, heroin, crack cocaine, cocaine, drug paraphernalia, US currency, drug packaging material, computers, digital scales and cell phones.

The Sauk County Drug Task Force is made up of officers from the Sauk County Sheriff's Office, Lake Delton Police Department, Sauk Prairie Police Department, Baraboo Police Department, Reedsburg Police Department, Spring Green / Plain Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, Ho-Chunk Police Department.
