OWI 5th
On Friday, November 26, 2021 at approximately 6:25 PM the Sauk County Communications Center was notified of a one vehicle rollover accident on Leland Road in the Township of Honey Creek. The operator was uninjured and left the scene.
The operator was located in West Baraboo and identified as Dorian L Gibson, age 27 of Reedsburg. During contact with Gibson the deputy noted signs of impairment. The deputy learned that Gibson had four prior convictions for Operating While Intoxicated. Gibson was asked to do field sobriety tests and as a result of those tests, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 5th offense. Gibson was transported to the Sauk County Jail.
Charges of Operating While Intoxicated 5th offense, Operating after Revocation, Fail to Install Ignition Interlock Device and Obstructing an Officer are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney's Office.
