On Friday, April 30th, 2021 at approximately 6:39 PM a Sauk County sheriff's deputy working a seatbelt grant conducted a traffic stop on Highway 14 near the intersection with Big Hollow Road in the township of Spring Green.
The operator was identified as Christopher Sorce, age 49 of Spring Green. While in contact with Sorce the deputy detected signs of impairment. Sorce was put through field sobriety testing and as a result was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, 5th offense. Sorce was transported to the Sauk County Jail and turned over to custody of the jail staff.
