OWI 4th
On Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at approximately 9:00 PM the Sauk County Communications Center was notified of a vehicle vs tree accident on Fern Dell Rd in the Township of Delton. The operator fled the scene on foot into the woods. Lake Delton Police Department assisted with locating the driver shortly after. The driver was not injured in the accident. No other occupants were in the vehicle.
When the Deputy arrived on scene he observed signs of impairment from the operator. The operator was identified as Aaron W. Young, age 54 of West Allis. Young was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated, 4th offense. That charge is being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney's Office.
