On Thursday, September 2, 2021 at approximately 10:38 PM, a Sergeant from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department observed a vehicle traveling on STH 58 in the village of Ironton. The Sergeant observed the vehicle go left of the centerline. The Sergeant stopped the vehicle and made contact with the operator who was identified as Jenny L. Poulson, age 55 of rural Lavalle.
While speaking to the operator, the Sergeant observed signs of impairment. Poulson was asked to do field sobriety tests and as a result of those tests, Poulson was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, 4th offense. That charge is being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office. Poulson’s vehicle was removed by Shield’s Towing.
