On Friday, March 6th 2020 at approximately 5:17 PM the Sauk County Communications Center received a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Yellow Thunder Road near North Reedsburg Road in the township of Delton.
Sauk County deputies arrived on scene and locate a 1991 Ford Crown Victoria in the ditch. The operator of the vehicle was identified as the registered owner Michael Brooks, age 61 of Baraboo. During contact with deputies Brooks showed signs of impairment. As a result of the incident Brooks was arrested for Operating while Intoxicated, 4th offense. He also received numerous traffic citations. Brooks was transported to the Sauk County Jail where he was transferred into custody of jail staff.
