On Saturday, September 3, 2022 at approximately 12:14 PM, a Deputy from the Sauk County Sheriff's Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on N. Reedsburg Rd. in the Excelsior Township. The Deputy made contact with the driver, who was identified as Dale A. Kuhnau, age 56 of rural Sauk City.
While speaking to Kuhnau, the Deputy observed signs of impairment. Kuhnau was asked to do field sobriety tests and as a result of those tests, Kuhnau was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 4th Offense.
Charges of Operating While Intoxicated 4th Offense and Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney's Office.
