On Sunday, August 29th, 2021 at approximately 2:50 PM the Sauk County Communications Center was notified of a vehicle stuck in the ditch on a culvert on CTH W in the Greenfield Township. When the deputy arrived he observed signs of impairment from the operator. The operator was identified as Robert D. Obrion, age 69, of Baraboo.
Obrion was asked to do field sobriety tests and as a result of those tests, Obrion was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated, 4th offense. That charge is being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office. Obrion was transported to the Sauk County Jail and the vehicle was removed by Mike’s Towing.
