On Sunday, October 17, 2021 at approximately 11:15 PM a deputy with the Sauk County Sheriff's Office located a vehicle stopped that had mechanical issues on STH 136 near Cornfield Road in the Township of Baraboo.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as Ashley Sevier, age 36 of Rock Springs. During contact with Sevier the deputy noted signs of impairment. The deputy learned that Sevier had 2 prior convictions for Operating While Intoxicated. Sevier was asked to do field sobriety tests and as a result of those tests, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 3rd offense. Sevier was transported to the Sauk County Jail.
A charge of Operating While Intoxicated 3rd offense will be referred to the Sauk County District Attorney's Office.
