On Saturday, June 10, 2023 at approximately 6:44PM, a Sergeant from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on 9^th Ave near Draper St in the City of Baraboo. The Sergeant made contact with the operator, who was identified as Brian J Miller, age 38, of Baraboo.

While speaking with Miller, the Sergeant observed signs of impairment. Miller was asked to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, Miller was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated 3^rd Offense.

Charges of Operating While Intoxicated 3^rd Offense and Possession of a Schedule II narcotic are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office. Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Baraboo Police Department K9 Unit.
