On Sunday, June 4, 2023 at approximately 2:58AM, a Deputy from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on County BD near Pit Road in the Town of Baraboo. The Deputy made contact with the operator, who was identified as Henry J Evon, age 57, of Baraboo, WI.

While speaking with Evon, the Deputy observed signs of impairment. Evon was asked to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, Evon was placed under arrest for Operating while Intoxicated 3^rd Offense.

Charges of Operating While Intoxicated 3^rd Offense and Unsafe Lane Deviation are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.
