On Saturday, March 25, 2023 at approximately 2:50AM, a Sergeant from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle in excess of the speed limit on County Highway H near Bluebird Lane, Town of Dellona. While searching for the vehicle, the Sergeant located it stuck in the ditch on Horkan Road near Horkan Lane, at the end of a driveway. The Sergeant made contact with the operator, identified as Brodie J. McCoy, age 22, of Reedsburg, WI.
While speaking with McCoy, the Sergeant observed signs of impairment. McCoy was asked to perform field sobriety tests. As a result, McCoy was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated 3rd Offense.
Charges of Operating While Intoxicated 3rd Offense and Speeding are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.
