On Saturday, February 18, 2023, at approximately 7:49 PM, Sauk County Dispatch received a report of a vehicle parked and facing the wrong way on USH 12. It was also reported that a female was inside of the vehicle and appeared unconscious. A deputy located the vehicle and made contact with the operator, who was identified as Stephanie Deluke, age 40, of North Freedom, WI.
While speaking to Deluke, the deputy observed signs of impairment. Deluke was asked to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, Deluke was placed under arrest for Operating while Intoxicated 3rd Offense.
Charges of Operating While Intoxicated 3rd Offense and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.
