On November 1st, 2020 at approximately 6:44 PM the Sauk County dispatch center received a call regarding a traffic complaint on Highway 33 in the township of Excelsior. The caller stated that the suspect vehicle was all over the roadway and traveling with varying speeds.
Sauk County deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the city of Reedsburg. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Dwayne Johnson, age 46 of Richland Center. During contact with Johnson deputies observed signs of possible impairment and field sobriety testing was administered. As a result, Johnson was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, 3rd offense.
