On February 26th, 2020 at approximately 5:09 PM the Sauk County Communications Center received a report of an erratic driver in the village of West Baraboo.
The offending vehicle was identified as a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. Sauk County deputies located and made contact with the vehicle. The operator was identified through a revoked Wisconsin driver's license as Ricardo Briones, age 31 of Reedsburg. During the contact with deputies Briones displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for Operating while Intoxicated, 3rd offense, Operating while Revoked due to OWI and Felony Bail Jumping. He was also placed on a hold by Probation and Parole. Briones was transported to the Sauk County Jail.
