Drug Arrest

On 05/31/2023, at approximately 4:00 PM, a Sauk County Deputy stopped a silver Mercedes SUV for an equipment violation in the City of Reedsburg. The Mercedes was operated by Robert Sullivan, age 43, of Reedsburg.  The deputy was familiar with Sullivan, and suspected he was still out on bond from an arrest in January of 2023, for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, and fentanyl. The Deputy later learned that Sullivan was also out on bond for several other pending criminal court cases.

A Reedsburg Police Officer arrived to assist the Deputy, and consent was given by Sullivan to search the SUV. As Sullivan was stepping out the SUV, he began to reach into his pocket and remove items.  Sullivan threw several items onto the grassy area near where the SUV was stopped.  These items included a digital scale, and two plastic baggies.  The baggies contained prescription pills, and suspected fentanyl.  Sullivan was arrested and transported to the Sauk County Jail for possession with intent to deliver Fentanyl (10-50 grams), possession of narcotic drugs, carrying a concealed knife, possession of drug paraphernalia, and four counts of felony bail jumping.

0n 06/06/2022, based on an ongoing investigation, Officers from the Reedsburg Police Department, and members of the Sauk County Drug Task Force served a search warrant at Sullivan’s residence in the City of Reedsburg. Evidence of drug sales, drug paraphernalia, and suspected THC were recovered in the search.  As a result, additional charges may be referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office for their review.
