Attempted Abduction

On October 16, 2013, at approximately 7:53 PM the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an attempted abduction in the area of Haskins Park in West Baraboo, Sauk County.
It was reported that the suspect stopped to ask a male pedestrian for directions to Wal-mart. The pedestrian was giving directions to the driver and as he pointed to the direction of Wal-mart, the suspect grabbed onto the pedestrian's arm and attempted to force him into the vehicle. The pedestrian was able to break away from the suspect and ran home.
The suspect was described as a stocky white male with short hair thought to be about six feet tall and having a deep voice. The vehicle was described as a midsize silver SUV.
