PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Land Resources and Environment Committee of the Sauk County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on July 28, 2020, at 9:15 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the County Board Room at the Sauk County West Square Building in the City of Baraboo to consider:

Petition 14-2020. A petition to consider a conditional use permit pursuant to s. 7.027 (10)(g) for a sawmill. Said conditional use is located in the Town of Westfield, Sauk County

Lands affected by the proposed conditional use are located in CSM #6820 Lot 1, part of the SW ¼, NW ¼, Section 23, T11N, R4E, Town of Westfield, and as further described in Petition 14-2020. Petition 15-2020. A petition to consider a conditional use permit pursuant to s. 7.033(1)(h) for a home-based business (Insurance Business).  Said conditional use is located in the Town of Greenfield, Sauk County. 

Lands affected by the proposed conditional use are located in the SE ¼, NE ¼, Section 30, T12N, R7E, Town of Greenfield, and as further described in Petition 15-2020. Tax parcel identification number 018-0674-20000.  For additional information contact Brian Cunningham at (608) 355-4833.

Petition 16-2020. A petition to consider a rezone pursuant to s. 7.150 from a Single Family Residential zoning district to a Resource Conservancy zoning district.  Said rezone is located in the Town of Greenfield, Sauk County.

Lands affected by the proposed rezone are located in CSM #1972 Lot 2, part of the SE ¼, NW ¼, & PRT SW ¼, NE ¼, Section 7, T11N, R7E, Town of Greenfield, and as further described in Petition 16-2020. Petition 17-2020 Ordinance Amendment.  An Amendment to Chapter 24, the Sauk County Non-Metallic Mining Reclamation Ordinance.  The non-metallic mining reclamation ordinance amendments focus on providing for specific topographic information be included in reclamation plans, requiring a notarized affidavit granting Sauk County the right to complete reclamation if needed as well as to expand notification requirements to adjacent landowners and update the department name.  Any interested person may review or obtain copies of the draft amendments at the Sauk County Land Resources and Environment office, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, WI 53913.  For additional information contact Cassandra Fowler at (608) 355-4832.
