The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 6:30 p .m.
The agenda was approved on a motion by Dippel, second by Huffaker, and a unanimous vote of the Committee.
The meeting minutes from prior meetings were approved on a motion by Gaalswyck, second by Dippel.

History of the report was reviewed by Chair Krueger. The forum is intended to be inclusive of all participants who have an interest in the railroad in Sauk County . The evening is meant to be a presentation on the status of the bridge without political comment about the future of rail.
All documentation has been presented. Awaiting analysis and recommendation of award by the EDA.
An update on the report presented at Finance, and interest expressed thus far by municipalities was discussed. The committee will delineate additional criteria as needed based on receipt of applications.
History of the Health Care Center and decisions associated with the property were reviewed. The committee decided upon future action for development of an approach and work plan for developing recommendations on future use. Committee members were asked to prepare issue statements and connect with oversight committees regarding reuse options. Stakeholder input and a timeline will be constructed at the next meeting.
Two surveys regarding the efficacy of economic development efforts in the County were distributed. The surveys will be utilized to solicit input.
Update on investment, and timeline were distributed. Steve Schneider will be requested to attend the meeting on Monday.
Next regular meeting date: February 23, 2010, at 6:30 p.m.
