2. Adopt Agenda. Motion by Volz, seconded by Meister.

3. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting. Motion by Meister, seconded by Halfen.

Motion carried.

4. Public Comment.

Scott Alexander requested mowing of intersections on USH 12 due to visibility concerns.

6. Department: Parks

a. Review and Approval of Vouchers. Discussion followed.

Motion by Gaalswyk, seconded by Meister to approve July 2009 bills in the amount of

$ 29,096.83. Halfen abstained from voting.

Motion carried.

b. Discuss and Approve 2010 Budget. Discussion followed.

Motion by Meister, seconded by Gaalswyk to approve 2010 Budget as presented with additional increase of $0.25/hr for seasonal employees.

Motion carried.

c. Review Initial Rehabilitation Plans For Delton Dam.

No Action.

d. Approve Resolution For Dam Rehabilitation Grant From DNR.

Motion by Gaalswyk, seconded by Volz to approve Resolution for Dam Rehabilitation Grant from DNR.

Motion carried.

7. Department: Highway

a. Review and Approval of Vouchers. Discussion followed.

Motion by Gaalswyk, seconded by Halfen to approve July 2009 bills in the amount of

$ 154,256.26.

Motion carried.

b. Discussion of the Litigation Titled "Village of Plain vs. Sauk County".

No Action

c. Consideration of Resolution Denying Claim of Verizon. Discussion followed.

Motion by Volz, seconded by Gaalswyk to approve Resolution denying claim of Verizon.

Motion carried.

d. Discuss and Approve 2010 Budget. Discussion followed.

Motion by Meister, seconded by Halfen to approve 2010 Budget as presented.

Motion carried.

e. Discuss County Road Construction Projects. .

No Action.

f. Discuss Equipment Replacement for 2010.

No Action.

g. Discuss Speed Limit Request on CTH I by the Village of North Freedom.

Motion by Halfen, seconded by Gaalswyk approving Resolution reducing the speed limit on CTH I to 25 mph starting at 2,150 feet south of STH 136, at the North Freedom School Drive located in the Village of North Freedom.

Motion carried.

8. Next Meeting. Motion by Gaalswyk, seconded by Volz to adjourn to the next regularly scheduled meeting set for Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. at the Highway Department office.
