Human Services Finance Sub-Committee Minutes


DATE: November 9, 2009

  1. Meeting was called to order by Stoeckmann at 4:30 p.m., and it was determined that the meeting was in compliance with the open meeting laws.
  2. Present were Dippel, Alexander, Bowers and Stoeckmann. Staff present were Orth and Box.
  3. The motion to adopt the agenda was made by Alexander and seconded by Dippel.
  4. Motion to adopt the minutes for the prior month's meeting was made by Dippel, seconded by Bowers and carried.
  5. Communications: None
  6. Business Items
    1. Review and Approve Month Vouchers: Box distributed and reviewed the Monthly Voucher Report. Several line items were explained. A motion to approve monthly vouchers in the amount of $1,488,453.69 by Bowers, seconded by Alexander and carried.
    2. Account Receivable Report: Box distributed and reviewed the September 2009 Accounts Receivable Report.
    3. Approval for Collection Requests: Approval needed to send 26 accounts to State Collections in the amount of $10,946.75. Motion by Bowers, seconded by Dippel. Approval needed to give State Collections authorization to pursue a lawsuit against an account in the amount of $2,005.10. Motion by Dippel, seconded by Alexander.
  7. Departmental Updates
    1. Monthly Reports: Box distributed and discussed the
      September 2009 Volatile Line Report. She discussed those Volatile line items that are looking to end the year favorable and those not favorable.
  8. Next Meeting - December 7, 2009 at 4:30 p.m.
  9. Adjournment - Motion to adjourn was made by Bowers, seconded by Alexander and carried. Meeting was adjourned at 4:46 p.m.
