The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 8:00 a.m. The agenda was approved on a motion by Montgomery, second by Dippel, and a unanimous vote of the Committee. Motion by Montgomery, second by Stevens to nominate Krueger as Chair of the joint committee meeting. Motion by Volz, second by Hartje to close nominations and accept the nomination of Krueger as chair. Motion carried.

Business Items
Committees discussed communications lease agreement between Sauk County and Hilbert Communications. It was discussed that it was importance to uniformity and consistency in the lease agreement. Development agreements were discussed. Schneider noted that a development agreement would require an exclusivity clause as part of the deal. Motion by Gaalswyck, second by Hartje to delete self insurance language from the proposed tower space lease agreement. Motion to amend failed both Property and Resources and Economic Development Committees. Motion by Montgomery, second by Dippel to approve contract as originally proposed with Hilbert Communications. Motion carried.
Motion by Stevens, second by Gaalswyk, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
