Ordinance 35-09 Petition 14-2008 Amending Chapter 7 Sauk County Zoning

Ordinance Replacing The Terms Building Inspector With Zoning Administrator, Building Permit With Land Use Permit And Extending The Valid Dates Of A Landuse Permit From (Two) 2 Years To (Four) 4 Years, AND Amending Chapter 22 Sauk County Land Division and Subdivision Regulations Ordinance to Define Access Easement, Redefine Street and Lot Access/Frontage Requirements. Moved (Cassity/Netzinger). Supervisors Cassity and Netzinger with overview. Discussion regarding same.

Motion (Stevens/Alexander), to amend the ordinance by deleting from Chapter 22.22(3): "The aforementioned thirty (30) day period may, at the Zoning Administrator's option, be extended from the date of receipt of the requested supplemental information." Discussion regarding same. Alene Kleczek, Acting Corporation Counsel, stated options under State Statues, Section 59.69(5) are: act on as is; reject; or return to Committee, which would require a new public hearing. Discussion in support of, and in opposition to returning to Committee. Supervisor Cassity stated the issue regarding the above motion to amend would be looked at and brought back to the Board. Supervisor Netzinger recommended Board members contact a Committee member with any issues related to changes to Chapters 7 and 22, as the Committee will be reviewing further possible changes.
