The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 6:00 p.m.
The agenda was approved on a motion by Haugen, second by Horenberger. Motion carried. The minutes from the prior meeting were approved on a motion by Kreigl, second by Haugen. Motion carried.

Joe Lally distributed copies of information on West Nile, and Clean Sweep 2007 results. Updated committee on information dissemination and posting to the web.
Business Items:
Approval of Michael Steinhauer as Public Health Director:
Motion by Elsen, second by Horenberger, to approve Michael Steinhauer as The Public Health Director, contingent upon verification of credentials by Sauk County Corporation Counsel, and Mary Young of DHFS. Motion carried.
Updates:
Motion by Haugen, second by Horenberger, to approve to monthly report. Motion carried.
Motion by Haugen, second by Delong, to approve to monthly vouchers in the amount of $27,633.29. Motion carried.
Communications Dissemination
Joe Lally is working with MIS to improve informational postings on the Sauk County WebSite.
Legislative Update
Lowell reported that there will be a teleconference on Friday.
Motion by Haugen, second by Horenberger to adjourn until the next meeting on January 09, 2008, at 6:00 p.m.. Motion carried.
